roland, September 1, 2001 at 5:21:25 PM CEST John Cale & Terry Riley: Church of Anthrax Putting these names together you may expect arty-farty minimal music for string orchestra like Kronos Quartett or so. And most of this album of 1970 is really boring bullshit, but the 9 minutes long title track gives you a T-bone steak on LSD. Psycho, Rock, Psycho! kris, September 1, 2001 at 6:35:26 PM CEST
gotta look for that i actually don't know anything about terry riley, but i found his name when i searched for information about the yamaha yc-45d combo organ. He used to have a modified version. i bought an organ of that type two years ago, but i sold it to a local hip-hop group last month. it is an extremely cool instrument (can sound like a hammond, a combo rock organ, a horrible e-piano, a crap vibraphone or completely spacey), but i had no time to learn how to play (or fake) it. roland, November 8, 2001 at 3:28:15 PM CET
sorry for commenting myself, but: isn't it a cool title in these days? kris, November 8, 2001 at 9:33:23 PM CET
and so are all aviation metaphors on this site. TheCitadel, September 6, 2002 at 3:39:16 PM CEST
