First Class Music For The Jet Set |
tops, September 1, 2001 at 3:21:57 AM CEST why not! jam on the breaks (sic) I've been listening to a compilation by this name in the car for a week or so now.I came by it via someone i was seeing who turned out to be a crak addict: some great tunes all the same! basically a few well known ones that aren't that well known, like th e one off coldcut's remix of paid in full. also classics such as dyke and the blazers 'let a woman be a woman' (nicely juxtaposed with showmen inc - tramp). my current faves are nico gomez - blupita, badder than evil - gordon's war and jimmy and the bonzos - where's the bridge. the last of these gets in there merely on the basis of containing the line #she's the one that makes me want to jump and shout#, which brings carnival visions to my mind rather than heavy funk, and for the closing line: 'where is that confounded bridge?' kris, September 1, 2001 at 8:05:38 PM CEST

no links it was a compilation tape done by a street vendor... what was the link for that site where you can put up mix tapes? i'll try and put it there, but only after someone has guessed the name of another track on the tape. they shall win a compilation cd, details of which i will post on said mix site... tops, September 3, 2001 at 2:11:47 PM CEST
