Kris' mix inspired me to get off my ass and put something else up.

It's kind of about the lovin', mostly just stuff I've been listening to lately.

Nothing off the pile, as far as I know. Also a brand new track from Artistocracy 188!

I just noticed that the middle bit of Isaac Hayes' Look Of Love sounds pretty much like Spooky from your CD. It's even easier to mix Dusty Springfield into it.

Coool, that mp3 technology looks promising. Nice cover art.. and nice track selection as well, haven't burned it yet. I'm liking the new artisticracy188 track. Nice stuff.

my fave is "earth is the place" by nathan haines. great uplifting track in the spirit of 70's roy ayers, lonnie listen smith or the larry young track tops mentioned. unfortunately it has two cracks. i managed to find a file that seems to be okay. i'll check with headphones later today and post it to the pile.

all mp3s i found crack at 5:24 minutes. i think i'm gonna buy the cd tomorrow if i find it in a shop. i really love this song and the other one that alokem posted.

Kris - I found a version that doesn't "crack." It's not perfect either, but I'm pretty sure it stays in beat the whole time. This is what I found: Nathan Haines feat. i downloaded at least 10 different versions of the original and trashed them instantly. i couldn't find the cd in the shops yet, but i ordered it online. it would have been a good christmas gift. (i bought llorca "newcomer" and herbert "bodily functions" instead.)

finanlly. the cd arrived. i love it. i'm gonna upload the track as soon when the pile comes back.
