modofo, December 12, 2001 at 3:51:57 AM CET keep warm... Kris' mix inspired me to get off my ass and put something else up. It's kind of about the lovin', mostly just stuff I've been listening to lately. Nothing off the pile, as far as I know. Also a brand new track from Artistocracy 188! As always, any issues with the postings just email me. kris, December 13, 2001 at 10:20:03 PM CET
just burned the tracks are all new to me. it's really nice how it builds up. btw, have you prepared a cover? I couldn't find one. modofo, December 14, 2001 at 2:01:00 AM CET
slacker I blew off the cover, figured you guys could work something up with the breasts... kris, December 14, 2001 at 10:43:23 PM CET
sniff i'm graphically challenged. (i hope this is the pc term for not gifted.) modofo, December 15, 2001 at 2:50:47 AM CET
in that case... Well if I knew that I would have put something together. I'll work some thing up this weekend and post it. (the pc term is normal.) kris, December 19, 2001 at 6:23:30 PM CET
Look Of Love -> Spooky I just noticed that the middle bit of Isaac Hayes' Look Of Love sounds pretty much like Spooky from your CD. It's even easier to mix Dusty Springfield into it. modofo, December 20, 2001 at 5:10:57 AM CET
your cover art: kris, just posted a pdf for you. there's a link for you... kris, December 21, 2001 at 12:22:01 AM CET
wow! nice one. thanks a lot. lcbo, December 21, 2001 at 8:42:54 AM CET
Fascinating. Coool, that mp3 technology looks promising. Nice cover art.. and nice track selection as well, haven't burned it yet. I'm liking the new artisticracy188 track. Nice stuff. kris, December 21, 2001 at 10:39:50 AM CET
wait a minute! my fave is "earth is the place" by nathan haines. great uplifting track in the spirit of 70's roy ayers, lonnie listen smith or the larry young track tops mentioned. unfortunately it has two cracks. i managed to find a file that seems to be okay. i'll check with headphones later today and post it to the pile. kris, December 21, 2001 at 8:30:01 PM CET
nope, sorry all mp3s i found crack at 5:24 minutes. i think i'm gonna buy the cd tomorrow if i find it in a shop. i really love this song and the other one that alokem posted. modofo, December 22, 2001 at 6:07:49 AM CET
Earth is the Place Kris - I found a version that doesn't "crack." It's not perfect either, but I'm pretty sure it stays in beat the whole time. This is what I found: Nathan Haines feat. Vernaa Francis - Earth Is The Place (Francois K re-edit).mp3 8:34 at 128 kbps for a total of 8,238,811 bytes. If you can't find it I can post it somewhere for you... kris, December 22, 2001 at 6:03:07 PM CET
yeah, but that's the remix i downloaded at least 10 different versions of the original and trashed them instantly. i couldn't find the cd in the shops yet, but i ordered it online. it would have been a good christmas gift. (i bought llorca "newcomer" and herbert "bodily functions" instead.) kris, January 27, 2002 at 3:33:48 PM CET
nathan haynes - sound travels finanlly. the cd arrived. i love it. i'm gonna upload the track as soon when the pile comes back. kris, February 17, 2002 at 2:48:25 PM CET
