Here is my contribution (There's a direct link at the top of this page where you won't need the password for the download)I'll try and put up a new compilation at least once a month and switch the genre as much as possible. This compilation is a mash of some funk and disco with a touch of 80's thrown in. I tried to pick some lesser heard tracks but had to throw in some popular classics as well. great compilation. no fillers -- all killers. though i have loads of 70's funk i've know only three or four of the tracks. my favourite is the jackson sisters' "i believe in miracles". where is that from? i need to get it on vinyl. desperately.

the easiest way to get this on vinyl could well be the 'Urban Sould Classics Vol 1' LP

It also features Fred Wesley's 'Blow Your Head' and doing a search for it, I see I have recommended it you before!

Today I received two filepile discoveries, William DeVaugh "Be Thankful for What You've Got" and Gwen McCrae "All This Love That I'm Giving", as 12". Nice.

I just looked at the tracklist: there's some great tunes there, and I look fwd to hearing the others in about 40 mins!

Kris: that Gwen McRae track is a huuuuuuuge tune! (As is Larry Young's Fuel - 'Turn off the Lights' while we're on the subject!)
