roland, November 8, 2001 at 3:37:33 PM CET mary roos - morgens um fuenf here a another little tip. maybe the best "easy listening" song in german language. Mary Roos: Morgens um fünf (Five O'clock in the Morning). Mary Roos is known as a typical Schlager-Singerin, but in her very early days she was a real good chansonette. The text is brilliant also. kris, November 8, 2001 at 9:37:55 PM CET
german easy listening i came across a french easy listening sampler that featured "tanze samba mit mir". was it by roland kaiser? well, whoever it was by, this is too cheesy for me. and so is heino. on the other hand catarina valenty made a bossa nova record. don't ask me for details, i have one track on some compilation and it is fairly good. roland, November 9, 2001 at 12:40:45 AM CET

yep manfred krug did some great stuff especially with günter fischer. unfortunately, i have only one single, which sucks horribly because it is dixieland. urgh but i remember some years ago there was a rerun of a studio concert on tv. it was him with fischer's band and it was genius late 60's/early 70's entertainer las vegas bar schmock. i love it.
