is anyone interested in a new cd? my last one had 5 downloads. so i think it is not worth keeping my computer 24 hours online just in case someone wants it. what does your statistic say?

Stats

Hey Kris, I for one would be sad to see you stop offering the comps. Maybe a solution would be for you to post a 7 day period in which your comp will be accessible or even arrange times with people who are interested in downloading. If it's only five people then I don't think it'd be much of a hassle. I don't know myself how many people have grabbed my compilation as my stats are crappy with subdomains. Maybe I'll put up a free hit counter thing or a form submission that gets sent for each download. Anyway, hopefully you'll keep the comps coming.

it's okay to fly under the radar, but a couple of other participants would be nice. maybe we should remind the usual suspects.

i only figured that it's not worth keeping my ibook always online. from now on the service is available only when i'm online or on special request.

i hope you keep posting comps. i took the tracks i didn't have from your last off audiogalaxy, so that's one less download on your counter. no offense but i get a very assy connection from your server (iBook). with this there are just a few i'd need as well.
i'll be posting another one this week (hopefully), let's spread the word and get some other people posting!

Definately. More people with more comps. Right now we've got about 1-2 per month. I'd personally like to see around 5 per month. Oh that'd be nice.

re: why my server sucks.
it is connected via adsl, which is 768k download and 128k upload. when i'm online the bandwidth will go down to 64 or even less. now that i have a vaque idea about the number of downloads, i can see if i can spare some bandwidth on a good server.
